When J&J retained Mother to rebrand KY in 2007, they asked us for a culture doc about contemporary female sexuality and what women want from the KY brand. Our outspoken subjects made it clear that they celebrate sex and want a lubricant they’re proud to keep on the nightstand, instead of one that screams gynecology. This research directly impacted the development of KY His & Hers and the advertising for same.
